Tbh I found them cute together and I do ship them. Even after the twin reveal, whoops. I don't have a hard time believing that it was originally intended to be endgame, but yeah. Clearly other people have more of an aversion to fictional incest than I do, and the asspull's all they've got, because the movies clearly weren't written with the "everyone's related!" thing in mind from the start.
