this current plot is fucking annoying and boring and angsty, and legitimately bothering people who have problems with body horror. Not to mention it started at the worst possible time of the year for most people. Oh, and it's dragging on way too long, and aforementioned angstiness is starting to drain a lot of people's RP drives from what i've seen. there's no real way for people who don't want to deal with the angst or body horror elements to opt out so they're just stuck twiddling their thumbs from the sidelines and waiting it out.

that's about it, though. i feel like once this metaplot is over things will be business as usual.
