good luck! don't be afraid to use something with pain relief in it either, antibiotic with lidocaine was my lifesaver. it's probably staph, which is gross and scary but pretty common. also remember that skin is pretty thick, so a hole in the top few layers isn't necessarily a crisis. if you see yellow or bright red in the hole or it starts bleeding excessively, it might be doctor time.

also, next time (if there is one which i hope there isn't), use moist heat (like a hot bath or a washcloth + heating pad) to get it to drain on its own. you might still get the hole, but it will be less violent and painful
