'he shouldn't have had sex with... a girl he thought was legal age'. that's what you're saying and that's what's trying to be impressed here. he didn't do it intentionally. you can't blame a guy for having sex with a willing girl that he thinks is legal and equate it to a guy having sex knowingly with a willing minor. those two things are so very different.
