i'm saying she should have been able to make a rational moral decision in any sense. if a thirteen year old had stolen a car and run over pedestrians, would you blame the pedestrians for not getting out of the way fast enough when they drove up on the sidewalk and killed them? no. because you can't control the actions of other people. she made the decision to a) get a fake id, b) insinuate herself into a celebrity group, and c) fuck a celebrity while lying about her age. you can't blame anyone but her for her decisions in that matter. legally, it was stat rape, yes, but bowie was pretty much a victim in that he had no say in whether he chose to sleep with a minor or not. she took that choice away by lying about it.
the idea of blaming the adult comes when the adult is trying to convince the child to sleep with them. in that case, no, the child is not to blame and the adult is for pressuring and being predatory. that's not the case here. teenagers can be predators too. she didn't set out to rape him and i don't think rape happened in really any sense of the word, but she conned him pretty good. because of her lies, he could have wound up being charged for something he had no idea he was doing. i don't care if she was 13 or not, she was in control of her decisions and her decisions led her to be manipulative.
your screaming over her age doesn't change that not all 13 year olds have the same life experience or the same morals. not all teenagers will act the same. she wanted what she wanted and she got it. if it was any other thing outside of sex, she would be held fully at fault for her actions. but bring sex into it and suddenly it's everyone else's fault.
