players getting upset that my 30 year old character might prefer to make friends his/her own age :/

this chaps my ass and it's indicative of how immature players like that are, thinking it wouldn't be seen as weird for someone that much older to befriend a bunch of, say, 14yo teenagers

i wonder if players like that aren't like those fans I see sometimes at the anime cons here, still 30/35/40 years old wearing cat ears, a leash & collar and a soiled shirt, spouting dead tumblr memes and trying desperately to get chummy with the horde of awkward teen girls

it's not cute, it's bizarre that someone that age would constantly seek deep friendships and approval from someone so young :/
