yeah, actually, i have. and by a kid. you don't smack a kid in the face, no matter what they've done. you don't sign up to be a special needs teacher, then flip out on the kids who are special needs. you don't go into that job not expecting to deal with kids with a lot of problems and who can and do react to things violently. you know that going in. frustrated or not, as the adult in the situation, smacking a kid in the face is a huge no. they deserved to get fired and depending on what kind of slap it was, i'd even suggest the parents charge them.

child abuse is child abuse. you don't get to hit other people's kids.
