the main reason people care about IP logging is if they're looking to leave anonymous crit on your journal HMD (a very rarely-used RP feedback post).
but tbh, it's very hard to accurately track anyone from IP, especially with the ease of VPNs and IP-swaps these days. and very rarely is anyone nuts enough to stalk someone from it.
so if you do something majorly wanky, someone might complain about how you have ~IP-logging on so they can't leave crit~. otherwise no one will care. enable or disable it at your own discretion.
