rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

aka proto-cdc

I am still so legitimately sad that this game died so fast. I've never been so excited for a game, but I think I got maybe three tags before it just sorta poofed. :(

As far as proto-cdc ... yeah, I kind of agree, and laughed a little bit running into a few former players in cdc when I was there who got the same sort of vibe.

Still praying for something like it to rise again, though there were plenty of elements to it that would get wanked on to oblivion these days.

I enjoyed the game, but it needed a more dedicated mod team, sadly. Former conscripted player here who was also in CDC and I definitely got a similar vibe from both, lol. CDC had the benefit of a much more solid and reliable mod team, though, which helped it get off the ground -- which is why it's so sad to see it floundering now. ):

I think that if CDC goes under, we probably won't see a game like this again.
