in my experience, we tend to be way more strict about icness and writing quality. not that other rpers don't care at all, but in general i've seen a much laxer attitude, a lot more "let it slide for the sake of fun", and you only seem to get called on it if it's really bad. on that note we're also waaay more into leaving and receiving crit.
imo the interesting thing about dwrp is that we're really focused on the writing side of rp, with characterization and wordsmithing prized above all else. other sites i've been on seem to be more about the social end of it, where the whole point is to play around with your friends (or potential friends) and have the coolest character and have fun, not so much get every nuance down. (ofc this is just based on my own experiences so i might be missing some other rp cultures here /disclaimer)
oh and also we're like...the only rp culture that looks down on ocs. there's that too.
