Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

so i bought something from a site that's in another country and they had this huge tl;dr about how i'm responsible for any potential customs fees but no indication of what those fees might be! even if it's super expensive and out of this world, i'm fine with paying them. i just want to know if there is any way i can figure those fees out?

my pet mouse is barbering my other two mice and i feel so bad. i've tried buying the barber chews and new things to play with, and even bought a little igloo for the submissive mice to hide from her from. my last resort is going to have to be buying another cage and isolating her from the two because they're balding and losing whiskers. i feel terrible for separating them but i also don't like hearing the other girls' squeaks of pain all the time. i'll try to get them back together after a few weeks.

what's going on with your pets, anons? anything new? fun? annoying?

I did this last year, but this stuff isn't for me. It's for my adopted little brother. He's 6 this year and his biological parents don't care enough to send him shit or wish him a merry Christmas. Anyway, tried to keep things on the cheap side when I made the list.

your girl sounds so territorial! we had this problem with our rats a while ago (now they're all a bit too old/fat for it but haha)

the best way is to keep them eating, put small caches of food in different parts of the cage so the more territorial mouse is less likely to be biting at them for any reason. make sure they all get treats separate from one another. if it's rough grooming, and less territorial, try rubbing some vanilla on their noses and the backs of their necks. they'll be less aggressive. separating her is an option but make sure she doesn't get lonely! for our more aggressive rat, we took her out of the cage until the others got a little bigger with more space and when we put her back they were better off because they couldn't be pushed around so easily.
