Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

as for the format, it works pretty much the way any big game does. there's monthly events that you can participate in with your character to receive a boon. they're not mandatory, but participation gets your character something they might want/need. there's a quest influence roster now that means one char per player can request a quest to go on to advance their character in their court's rankings. it's a more open concept to give people an idea of what they have to do to climb the ladder. there's plot stuff going on, yes, but if you go and poke through the logs, you'll see that the majority of them are player plots that have been set up with NPCs or with other players. these are all non-mandatory unless you want to involve your character in something. we have a wide assortment of character involvement, from those that have already climbed up to 5 stars in rank and are heavy game-wide players, to those that just sort of putter along and are stuck in fairyland and have a more casual approach to gaming, along with everything in between.

basically, it pays to be more active in the game as you'll advance and get more stuff, but as long as you can pass the minimum AC (5 log/10 network comments by you), you can manage to play along as well.
