maybe whoever made that comment should re-think how they word things. i'm pretty sure what happened was: stupid comment was made, others responded with good points as to why that person needed to sit down, then bisexual trolling happened because all of you morons are responding to it.

there were other discussions of sexuality that were pretty calm, but then that dipshit had to come in waving their e-dick around like it mattered. when people took offense, obvious trolls saw that it was getting heated and jumped in. trolls are bored people. they found us. congrats, now they're here.

do you seriously think that the offending comment wasn't a troll? how on earth could you look at something like that and think that it was serious? i don't understand how people lost their minds over it, because it was pretty damn clear to me that that comment was bait. and, look, it worked.

it really doesn't matter who should take the initial blame, to be honest. the fact of the matter is that people fell for the first troll, then fell for the next wave of trolling, and now it's gotten out of hand and no one wants to associate with us anymore. the least we can do as a fandom is stand up and say "hey that's kind of bullshit can you guys knock it off" instead of just sitting here like GOD IT WAS JUST A JOKE YOU'RE ALL SO STUPID.

i don't care if it was meant to be mocking. i don't care if it was meant to be funny. it wasn't funny, it was really gross, and i don't want this shit happening in my fandom thread anymore. that's literally all this entire thread is trying to say. unless you missed the part where some of us were relieved to see it go up and refrained from shying away because of it. honestly i don't see how this thread could've possibly been anything but a good thing, but here we are.
