it was something new, and I agree with most of the responses. with a few changes, these plots could be a lot of fun. good to know I wasn't the only one who thought the pacing sucked and team science gets too much play already. there wasn't much for me by week 2 but suffering and dying because my character doesn't use the network or have CR with the right people.

the mods have been good about listening to us and keeping on top of things, so seeing them answering questions and taking feedback seriously is nice. hopefully if we get another plot like this it'll be smoother, with more opportunities to get involved.

yeah i agree with all of this. i was ready for it to be even more of a mess than this tbh since the mods did admit from the start that they had never run a plot like this before and that it was going to be a big learning experience.

When the biggest complaint was pacing and they put the holiday event post up a day late? I'd say no lessons have been learned.

Plus the december bulletin board's still mia. Remember when there was that five day standard, anons? Good times.

also, the bulletin board was supposed to go up on the 28th and i think at least 50% of the mod team is on PST anyway. i know sarah and trace and mel are.

but overall i think you're either reaching or needs to actively work on your reading comprehension. the largest complaint was the pacing of symptoms within that plot and the pacing of details which were revealed. that has no bearing on whether posts go up by your standard of "on time". also speaking personally as a player who wanted to see details paced and revealed better, the third point on the thanksgiving OOC post was more than worth the little bit of delay because now it means we have an easier time of seeing what we can grab onto for details.

i think we can maybe cut them some slack? If it becomes a big habit then they need crit sure, but real life holidays take precedence over RP events.
