Until when are applications open? How are returning characters received? I had to drop due to college, but sort of want to come back.

I wish the app period were a bit longer. It's been a busy month for me because of school and I'm rushing my application now after having tended to it little by little in my free time.

Anyone in the same boat as me?

sorry anon but this is the longest the app period has been open since the first one, every one since had to deal with the app cap

No, I mean, how are returning characters received by the playerbase?

this is the first app round with returning characters so it's hard to say how they are going to be received. you do start over from square one iirc.

They've already stated this will be the only app round for this mission.

anon...they were mocking the fact that we always get that question on here not long after an app round closes

also I believe the mods said there would be one app round during the next mission. we're between missions right now. I'm copying from the mod update re this past app period:

Please note that from now on, we will only have open application rounds (that is, no app caps) during off-mission periods. All application periods held during an active mission will have an application cap, with irregular dates. MISSION MACHA WILL ONLY HAVE ONE APPLICATION PERIOD.

which suggests there will be another app round in the next month or so

other than sturmhond/alina and john/aeryn, i didn't actually know there were other established couples in game. though from what i understand, both of those are canon. obviously i need to pay attention more.

not counting the npcs of course, they're all over the place (but not in a bad way imo).

I love Fiona, Obi-Wan, Aeryn, Mogget. There are plenty others, but I'll start with these!

It seems like the mods are going to post their acceptances/rejections/revisions all at the same time. Is that what happened during the last app round?

they tend to post the revisions first so people have a chance to fix things then they start posting the acceptance

I don't recall seeing the rejections before so I'm not sure where they come in

looks like the canon-update requests just got sent out, so doubt it will be much longer now.

Also during last app round, revisions were sent out along the same time as accept/declines, as a few stragglers were added to the crewship after.
