i don't know if i should crit this person or not

it's just one reply in one thread i'm concerned with. in this one reply they turned a light-hearted slice of life thread into some serious tragic backstory type of info dump with no reasonable prompting from what i can tell

i just...why. it's sudden and jarring? but it's just this one thread. they seem fine in all the other threads they're doing with this character?
