In fact, not caring makes someone a psychopath. I think that a person's soul can be judged by the way they treat animals. If someone I knew abused animals, I'd cut them off in a heartbeat. Hell, if someone I knew said they didn't give a shit about the malicious torturing of animals, I'd cut them off from my life. I don't need that lack of basic compassion anywhere near me.
