I've been in the game for a few months now and I've found that people are generally pretty good about backtagging, but as was mentioned above, not everyone does it. I think perhaps I've really lucked out in terms of the people I've threaded with because dropped threads really haven't been an issue for me so far. I apped into an existing cast and was welcomed with open arms despite only knowing a couple of the players, and I've found it to be very easy to get cross-canon CR. Plurk doesn't seem to be necessary in order to get great CR going either, though it probably wouldn't hurt. I would generally categorize the game as laid back and friendly. I've been in the game just a few months, but I've been impressed by how diverse my CR is as well as by the recent plots. The mods seem really approachable too, which is a definite plus for me. There are some anons who complain about the application standards, but I haven't experienced any issues myself so I can't comment on that at all. My one piece of advice would be to tag out a lot during your first month or so. Putting in extra effort from the start will really benefit you in the months to come as you'll likely get tags back from those same people once you make a post of your own. Best of luck, anon! Hope you app!
