Info from where? All I know is that I tried to save Larry and saved Ben and stayed neutral in Kenny's fight with Lily and helped his family and him out in every other way and he disliked my Lee enough to refuse to help Clementine at first.

From what I hear there's a way to get him to be your buddy even if you try to save Larry and Ben, which I didn't think was possible. I've heard it depends on if you sided with him in every other decision but I've never played through that way.
