The only way to do that once you save Larry is to side with him 100% on every other decision. I stayed neutral in his arguments with Lily.
Unless you kiss his ass all the time and kill someone who could be recovering, he acts like an asshole to you. Even if I helped his family COUNTLESS times.
All of that didn't bother me, though. What REALLY bothered me was when he refused to go save Clementine, which has NOTHING to do with anything going on between Kenny and Lee, because Lee didn't kiss his ass. He can't even use his family as an excuse anymore.
In the end I hadn't gotten so much on his bad side that I couldn't convince him to come with me but it was that moment that I decided I hated the character. Still do. Anyone who sided with Kenny the whole time thinks he's such a bro but only those who didn't go with him on every decision get to see his true colors.
In the words of Kenny: "Yeah, well what has she done for me lately?" That pretty much sums him up.
I get why people like him and sympathize with him, I really do, but I just can't.
