Just started watching Agents of SHIELD today because before I play an MCU character I want a comprehensive view of what normal people in their world would see, and I thought from anon talk that it'd be a horrible abomination but it's actually pretty watchable so far.

I'm pleasantly surprised! Happy new year anons, I hope all our 2014 movies will be as enjoyable as the ones that have come out so far.

Crux Fleet is a space opera, full of adventure, exploration, battles, and possibly a hint of romance. The main influences are Star Trek, Macross, and Star Wars. If you're looking for genres, it's an adventure/exploration game with hints of slice of life and a focus on dealing with new races, hostile and non.

The 43rd Fleet is smaller than it was when it started, and several generations have passed, resulting in people who have lived their entire lives never walking on a planet's surface.

The fleet travels from world to world, system to system, scanning and testing to see if the planets there are suitable for colonization. Along the way, they get tied up in intergalactic politics, planetary emergencies, and end up facing off against a plethora of enemies.

Your characters, after an incident no one fully understands, appeared in the universe and were rescued by the Fleet. They don't have a way to take them home, but they do have details on the accident that brought them there, and they're willing to send them home as soon as they figure out how.

Until then, your character will be given housing and funding enough for two or three weeks, long enough to get used to life on the ship and find some way of making themselves useful. Whether this involves becoming a student, joining the military, becoming a drycleaner, or becoming a scientist, it doesn't matter to the people in charge. There's no room for slackers in the Fleet.

We are now open for reservations. On the 15th, we will open for applications, and the official opening will be on February 1st.
