Uhh

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Macbook Pro 15"
iPhone and old heavy iPad (and the Vita goes online too I guess)

I like them! I just wish the computer wasn't so expensive :( but it was required for my major so what can you do

I misread "Macbook Pro" as "Mac Pro" and was like "what the deuce do you do that requires a fucking Mac Pro".

Either way, what's your major, anon?

iMac 23"
Windows phone 8X (HTC)

I'm in love with my Mac and goodness knows I would marry it if I could. My phone is alright, but recently plurk broke something that means my back button no longer works for that site, tumblr crashes like a bitch on mobile internet, and DW is rad except from when comment threads choose not to expand themselves. When my contract is up I may consider looking for another provider as 3 is an unreliable mistress when it comes to mobile internet.

If any UK anons from the Essex/London area have network suggestions for me I'd love to hear 'em.

Not from the SE but I never had problems with O2's mobile internet when I was with them.

custom built desktop.

No other internet capable devices as I melted the motherboards of multiple laptops from overuse.

I'm pretty happy with the desktop since I built it for what I needed rather than trying to make an ill-equipped device function to my needs.

deathly hot australian summers plus over 15 hours a day use for gaming and photoshop.

Their poor little fans really couldn't keep up so they'd already frequently overheat and turn off but eventually no amount of external cooling could keep the motherboard from permanent damage.

Another custom built desktop user here. Sadly, my laptop did not go out in a blaze of glory like some of my previous machines, but merely got stepped on.

Nothing else internet-capable since I just moved to a new city and haven't bothered looking into cell phones yet.

my desktop was built specifically for gaming, it's a beast

computer: macbook 13" but not for much longer
phone+music: htc desire (first gen)
tablet: samsung galaxy tab

my computer has been great up until this year, where it's died four times in the last five months. last night was the last straw so i'm going to get a new macbook pro today. my phone's all right; internal memory is SHIT but i have a 32g sd card i got on sale. still, music skips and stuff and if my ipod hadn't shattered after many faithful years of use, i wouldn't be using it for tunes. tablet's great but i almost never use it (but i got that on sale too).

- I have an HP g62 laptop. It's about 3 years old now and it's only broken once in that time (the hard drive but I managed to get a replacement from HP no problem).

- ipod touch and a smart phone (t-mobile prism)

I love my laptop, compared to the newer hp models my brothers have (which have all broke within 3 months) it's great. Ipod is out of date (it's a gen 2 so I'm stuck jailbreaking it or not having apps) My phone on the other hand, I really wish I could get a newer phone, it's about 2 years old now and it freezes when I try texting people about 50% of the time and it often times loses connection to the phone nextwork I'm on.

I have an Asus desktop I bought a couple of years ago and upgraded a little to game on (new graphics card). It still runs as good as the first day I got it, and it's not completely outdated yet because I bought a little better than what I needed. I love it dearly. Thing's a beast and runs better than some gaming rigs and cost less.

I have a Droid Razr, also, and I like it a lot. Got it last November as an early Christmas gift, and it's been great. I didn't have a smartphone before that.

We have a Wii that doesn't get used very much, a DS that is used mostly for Animal Crossing right now, and an old 60GB PS3 that we upgraded to 360GB years ago. We stream Netflix through that, and it's been great for us so far. We wound up dropping our cable because we were using Netflix more.

S/O has a gaming computer I just bought them to replace their 6 year old machine that was slowing down. I had a problem with it when we got it, but after fixing it, it's been great. They also have an iPhone that they like a lot and don't want to give up because it's still working great after three or so years.

hp pavillion g7 laptp
and a samsung galaxy tab 2

the hp laptop is okay but a little slow

i only use the tab for light browsing, it literally can't even load like the first page of rpanons without crashing. its only big upside is portability and games.

toshiba with windows 8 i've had for about two months
ipod touch, ps vita, kindle keyboard - you know, the old one

the experimental browser on the kindle keyboard is lacking, at best, but in desperate times (power outages mostly) i've been able to get on 3G wireless and do what i need to do. my ipod's about 4 years old and i use the internet on it a bunch, it's good but a lot of sites crash the safari on it. i don't use the vita wifi much except to send myself game screenshots... but it's pretty because of the screen, so there's that.

i bought a taskbar button & boot-to-desktop program for win8 and haven't seen the tiles since (i don't have a touch screen laptop so the tiles are annoying tbh) and it's superb now.

2005 ibook g4 with a finally failing logic board and a frankenmonster winxp box with no parts newer than probably 2006 (less than 1gb ram and 2ghz processor) because i live in the stone age and it if ain't broke, don't fix it.

my "feature phone" apparently can get on the internet but i've never used it for that.

they serve my purposes so i like them well enough.

gateway c140xl laptop (dying a slow horrible death, it's old as fuck but I NEED MY TABLET)
macbook pro for everything that isn't drawing
iphone

...That's it. And I like all of them, yes. Thinking about maybe getting an ipad for commuting purposes though...

An ancient, dying Gateway. That's it.

Yes, I am stuck in the last decade, why do you ask?
