I know all the mods are going through shit right now but I really feel like the game is stagnating without the plot posts. That was one of the reasons why I joined, I like having the plot events to latch onto. Without them this place turns into a kind of slice of life thing. Good on the players for trying to start plots on their own but there's only so far that can go.

I keep thinking back on how the water sounded like it would be a quick mini-event when it was first suggested.

I enjoyed it at first but it feels like it's worn out it's welcome by now.

Not only is the game stagnating, but plot involvement is required for AC and if we don't get one soon then how are people going to be passing the AC this month?

Well, admittedly, I think interacting with any of the monsters and stuff like these player-run plots of going into the mines and shutting down the water poisoning work

But you still make a really good point, and it's going to leave a lot of players in the cold.

But you got a couple of issues there. For one, not everyone realizes those would be good enough for an AC pass, plus some of that was still end of August and wouldn't count anyhow. The other is that not every character will be able to be involved in these.

I play a character who intro'd in August so will need to pass AC this month, but since they're new they weren't really able to be involved in those player plots. A real plot would be kind of necessary for that.

My issue exactly. I'm starting to get a little worried about it. I already had to kind of force my character to use the network in a way that wasn't OOC for him by throwing him into some extraneous situation, when I'd just been hoping to have a plot post prompt him into using the network more...

do you think we'd ever get a game-wide HMD?

Probably not.

If we did get one chances are no one would actually use it to give crit.

By this point I kind of want to run with the whole 'police catching actual players' thing.

But that would mean getting the mods to approve it and such.

I'd definitely like it, or for the police or thunder corp to try some crazy attempts at murdering characters or something.
