I wanted to make a Halloween-themed story originally. I love a lot of aspects of American culture, mostly in the mid-west and the sort of air surrounding farmlands and Americana culture. Originally, it had a really simple concept about a girl and a princess going on adventures set around this sort of mood and theme. I then thought well, what was the girl's motivations? (since I wanted her to just be an average joe!) From there it kind of just spiraled to > brother's a bad guy > brother is possessed by some weirdass Halloween thing and then... it kind of got out of hand and here it is!
2006 to 2009 or so! Wow, I don't know if I've come along enough but that's what I've really focused on lately. It makes me really happy to be able to share a story with others. It's always been my dream, you know?
I think my major inspirations probably come from the JRPGs I played as a kid. They helped me learn English and I'm still playing them because I love my nostalgia. I love the feel of certain, older JRPG games where the worlds are really vast and almost... a little lonely? Where even as you progress in the story, not everything is okay but you still have to keep on going. Wild Arms 2, Grandia, and Breath of Fire 3 were probably my first inspirations.
