Re: LUCETI

Overall, I've found Luceti to be a very welcoming game in more than just people are willing to give about any character a fair shot. They also are welcome to play with slow taggers, backtagging for a long time and plotting. True, not everyone is like this, but the vast majority definitely are. As long as you tag around and play your character, it's not hard to get CR at all.

It's pretty easy to get started and I'll give a few tips to ensure you don't run into any troubles:

1. Make sure to make an OOC intro in the OOC comm with your character journal. Since it is a journal based game, people have to subscribe to see your posts. Since there are going to likely be 100+ characters showing up, I admit we are a bit lazy and hover add on intros and do the mass adding when the mods post it at the end of the cycle. Don't worry if you don't get added by a lot of the journals, many people have multiple characters and only update the reading list for one. The OOC comm doesn't require approval to join, so you can do this upon acceptance.

2. Make sure to comment to the add/remove post once you are accepted into the Luceti comm (usually takes less than 24 hours). This makes sure your character will get added to the master list so people who join after you will add your character. While sometimes there are some players who will go and comment for those who didn't do so, don't depend on that.

3. Post your intro on your journal. It's usually best to wait about a day after you post your OOC intro to do this so people will see it, but posting it early won't hurt your chances of getting tags. And just realize you may get new tags to your entry for even a couple of days after you make the post, so don't worry too much if you don't get a response right off. One nice thing about Luceti is that the majority of players are perfectly fine with late tags and backtagging.
