Have you ever actually talked to them about it? The modplot was pushed back because of System Shock, not the other way around, because people thought it sounded fun and wanted to do it right away and when they said they'd do new modplot stuff in January no one had any issues with it. Then the modplot was supposed to happen in January but everyone voted to move to dreamwidth and to take a month to do it. Then the rebellion stuff started to get kicked off in February before everyone chased half the mods out.
Modplot has always seemed to run about every 6 months and the last one was Lirath in August and September. They were nearly right on schedule and only slightly off from the move. Even then, they were already setting stuff up for the rebellion for the players with the time echoes plot in January. It's like everyone forgets we had to move from LJ. That was the biggest cause of stagnation.
They do need to shape up but everyone needs to stop pulling a Chicken Little. This isn't the first time we've needed a heavy mod reshuffle and it's good they're doing it before we get into more plot.
