Oops hit post too soon. What I meant to say was that there's also characters who I may not want to really remember the way their lives turn out either (if they've had a particularly depressing life.)

idk, I'd like to see just straight up taking the character from a childhood canon point; it'd be interesting to see how characters might relate to others from their canon differently without their adult canon baggage (this is really my favorite thing about deaging scenarios.)

You could always have an option for characters to dream up snippets of their later canon memories, if people really want to inject some of that in, but I think the option of bringing characters in fresh would be nice.
