There's a couple different 'types' of characters that are doing well in the game. The two that come to mind are the characters that are trying to just go with the flow and adapt to the new world, and those who are forming theories and intellectualizing with one another.

They're a bit separated because they both have very different ways of coping with the situation, but the CR isn't 100% exclusive. There's a lot to play around with.
