It's actually a big problem, really! People try to describe it by bringing up the romance plot, and try to apply a simple label, but it's a lot bigger than that and any simplifying just doesn't lend to the story as it is.

It's a murder-mystery, it's a conspiracy story, it's a horror and a drama and a psychological thriller. It's got a lot more to it than the advertised "shota bondage with cat ears".
