I'd seen that the other on ATP as well - but since the premise, apart from what would be obligatory to a Harvest Moon game, seems different enough from my or the OP's setup, I quashed awkward feelings on that one and told myself to see it the way someone would, say, multiple outer-space-themed games around at once, and see how things go.
