We now have a game name: The Earth. Utilitarian, but I like it. I might tweak it a bit to Save the Earth instead but it will do for now.
We also have our IC community, savetheearth and our OOC community saveyourselves. I decided not to have separate network and log communities, but instead will have both types of post in the same place. I've always wanted to have a game like that, but if it doesn't work out I'll not have a problem splitting them up later.
Finally, I've decided on a city name. Locke City. That's pronounced the same as lock, for those of you who've never seen that surname before.

Echoes, unchanged from last time aside from a link to the Echoes request page. Applications, now with a note declaring when the game will open. Rules, new and explaining AC. A lot of behind the scenes activity has gone on too. I've developed a lot of the plot points that will come along and attempted to anticipate character responses, but years of DnD have taught me that you never really know. I'm gonna play fast and loose to keep to the ideal that character actions actually matter more than a predetermined story.
At present what needs to be done are-
Setting up the HTML and beautification of the communities, which I may need help with. I'm okay with the HTML you need to play and I'm sure I can learn enough to set up a game. But if someone wants to speed things up, go ahead and volunteer, I'll be grateful.
Finding co-mod(s). Even if I keep saying 'we' for some reason, it's just me right now. I'm reasonably certain I can handle the game alone for a couple of months but I doubt I can run the show solo indefinitely. I'll open up applications after a while of doing it myself, so I can pick someone who I've seen in action.
As always, input welcome and there's still time (and a good chance) things will change a bit more before we really open.
