the pace is pretty manageable, imho; there are about five or six new network posts a day, though this number often goes up during the beginnings of event weeks. it's premise is pretty standard as far as jamjar games go (i think it was one of the first jamjars? idk, i haven't been in it that long comparatively, but it's one of the oldest lj/dwrp games still open). there are (usually) two events every month that (again, usually) last about a week each. they're player-suggested, and can be anything from completely cracky to horror-based and terrifying. beyond that, the game's pretty open-ended and slice of life; there are mod npcs that make posts every so often and interact with characters, and if players want to do something more in-depth with them, the mods seem to be pretty willing to accommodate. the playerbase is generally pretty laid back, and i've had good luck in getting cr with a variety of different canons/characters. most people are also willing to backtag into forever too, which is always a plus.
