sadly no resources, but i've got a little bro around the age of ten and let me tell you kids are fucking smart they know what's going on because their brains make simple connections that aren't laden with implications

for example if two people are fighting they're going to know something is terribly wrong even if the fighters say that no, everything's fine, they're just talking it's just their gut feeling and kids have a lot of gut feelings and they're usually right

it kind of depends on how she grew up too, environment really affects a child's mindset, goals, etc despite what others may think it REALLY makes a difference. from what i've noted.
