GAME BASED ON BANJO KAZOOIE

I have a very basic idea for this right now.

L.O.G (http://banjokazooie.wikia.com/wiki/Lord_of_Games), in a suitably meta fashion, aspires to create the ultimate cross-over game. However he is unable to obtain the rights to all the characters he wants, meaning his only option is a nonprofit fan production.

That's what the game is based around. Apped characters are placed into a Goody Team and a Baddy Team. L.O.G will specifically say that moral ambiguity would be too complicated for a big cross-over and jam characters into one or the other, sometimes rather haphazardly. The two teams will be put through lots of pointless challenges, earning Jiggies for the team and Notes personally. Jiggies will be used for earning team benefits, such as upgrading the shared housing etc whilst Notes will be spent on personal benefits, such as retrieving objects from the character's canon, paying to swap teams etc. A lot more pointless collecting would be worked in for various IC reasons.

To fit the inspiration, new worlds would be routinely opened up with the old ones remaining accessible at all times. Previous challenges can be repeated so long as enough characters from both teams can be found to enter them. Whenever a new world was opened, an event that matched the theme would run for a week or so depending on what it was. Whenever a certain number of Jiggies are gathered in total (I'm thinking in terms of every hundred at the moment), L.O.G will add some sort of game changing element, such a common enemy for the two teams, a third team, force the two teams to live in one place. That sort of thing.
