This is probably the wrong place to ask, but in about 3 months, I'll find myself in possession of a rather large sum of money due to inheritance, and I honestly have no clue how to manage it. I was always terrible at those stupid investment games in consumer economics, but I feel like I'm only going to lose money if I let it sit in a bank account (because of inflation rates vs. interest rates)

Economics anons do you have any resources on personal money management/investment? Eventually this money will probably go to a down payment on a house but that is probably about 5-10 years down the road for me at this point...

Most people I know are terrible with money so I honestly have no one to ask.
