I'm working on a game with a friend of mine. Since I've seen people dislike the current accepted norm of applications, I've decided to test drive something different!
There's the usual generic info (player name, linking a wiki or explaining the setting/character in brief detail), but the meat of the application is actually more of an IC Q&A format. The questions will range from generic 'do you understand your character's thought processes and personality traits' to setting-specific questions.
The game itself is a spirit world setting that your character can voluntarily enter (to try something different than the usual jam-jar 'errmahgerd trapped' setting), so some of the questions are along the lines of "what is the item that brings you to the spirit world?" and "what motivates you to come back to the spirit world?"
Any suggestions, approvals/disapprovals, possible generic questions to add?
