i have this recurring dream where i'm in some sort of weird menage a trois relationship with sherlock holmes and john watson. we go on adventures and solve mysteries and stuff, it's really fun.

Most of my characters tend to react to canon puncturing with "Okay, whatever, crazy person." Sometimes with a dose of "They made ENTERTAINMENT about all those horrible things that happened?"

If a character isn't from a sitcom or something, it seems sensible that they would assume that it was a documentary or something about the rather major events they were tangled up in.

So I'm playing a Japanese character who, in the series she's from, always uses honorifics attached to people's last name. Is it considered obnoxious or weebish to continue using the honorifics in RP?

People probably think it's weeabooish but his speech patterns seem off without them so IDGAF.

Obviously it's fine to use Japanese language quirks (to a point - I would limit it at honorifics) when they are Japanese, unless they have another reason not to.
